I couldn’t leave well enough alone so I modified a few more things.
Skirts
First up, I extended the skirts. I got this idea from a friend’s trashed GM Kai. It’s 2mm extension with pla-plate. The front skirts are now as long as the er… crotch.
Neck
I also extended 2mm of the neck. Usually folks who modify the neck add pistons and stuff. I doubt I’ll do it.
Antenna
Cut off the plastic part and added a brass rod.
Feet
Based on what I discussed with a couple of friends, I decided to modify the feet further. They look a lot less than Aladdin shoes now! I basically chopped off the black section in the picture below.
Grenade rack
The grenades themselves are AFV Club brass 1/35 WWII German army tank shells. The rack is all scratchbuilt with plasitc plate. There’ll also be a base for this. The hollow sections will be filled with epoxy.
Shield
There was a small indent on it. Filled it up with plastic plate and putty.
The end results is as follows. Next up is sanding and priming. I have a feeling I’ll then need to putty some more. Oh well…
