RGM-79 GM

Progress has been achingly slow. Still have quite a few things to fix before the putty-sand stage is over. That’s what I get for modding so much heh.

The good news is I got a new type of putty (Mr. Hobby Mr. White Putty) which supposedly dries much faster than the Tamiya putty I have been using all these years. Hopefully I’ll be able to finish up this kit by the end of the week so I can move on.

First round of primer is done to check for mistakes to be fixed and I have about 50% or so of the parts that need fixing. Not that bad. Time to break out the sandpaper and elbow grease. Hopefully, second round of primer will reduce the amount of fixes that are needed. Crossing fingers.

The problem is my Tamiya putty has started to dry up so this first round of puttying was more hassle than usual. Time to make a shopping trip to the local model shop.
