Real life intruded this past month and I managed to ignore the site. Needless to say, alot of news related to the hobby happened. Here are some that I found interesting (and for the most part, can’t resist):
First up news from Bandai. These two are upcoming real soon. The MG Sword Impulse Gundam from Gundam SEED Destiny and the HGUC Nu Gundam HWS, an MSV version of the Nu Gundam.
I didn’t much like SEED Destiny, but I did like the Impulse Gundam itself. The Sword Impulse is basically a rebox of the Force Impulse but with the Sword backpack. With this, it is now very much possible that the Blast Impulse would be released too!
Next up, the Nu Gundam HWS, which is a very odd HGUC entry indeed since it only existed as artwork. It’s supposed to be a souped up Nu Gundam with a lot more weapons to wreck havoc. As if Amuro needs any more weapons. Heh.
What’s really surprising is the price. As can be seen in the pic, there are quite a few additional parts to this kit. The shield alone is huge! And what does Bandai charge extra for these parts? Only 300 yen!
