TNI-AU F-16A/B Fighting Falcon Delivery Scheme

In 1986, the Indonesian Air Force (Tentara Nasional Indonesia-Angkatan Udara) ordered 12 F-16A/B Block 15OCU aircraft. The F-16s are employed in both air defence and ground attack roles. Lack of advanced weapons and equipment also limit the aircraft to daylight operations.

The aircraft originally received a blue/white color scheme and have a parachute fairing present in the tail root. Full details can be found here.

TNI-AU F-16A/B Fighting Falcon Millenium Scheme

In early 2000, the Indonesian Air Force (Tentara Nasional Indonesia-Angkatan Udara) F-16 received a new color scheme dubbed the ‘Millenium’ scheme.

At this point in time, the wing area was also reinforced (appears as bright orange plates on the fuselage). These were applied locally.
