WIP : 1/48 Bandai Snowspeeder Pt. 1

The plan is to learn weathering with this build as Star Wars vehicles frankly don’t look very good pristine (the prequels nonewithstanding).

I took the opportunity to get more practice with the pilots, which won’t be all that visible, especially Dack the rear gunner. In any case, these come with decals for the helmets which look to be oversized. Oh well.

Anyway, this being a Bandai kit with their level of engineering, it has come together quite quickly. Everything snaps in place without much gaps or even needing cement to stay in place.

The stand in this case is a must as no landing gear is included. Pity. On the other hand, Bandai gives you the nice option of having the flaps at the back opened or closed.
