The first month of 2026 is over and I’m behind on my annual look back at this site and my builds. Here we go:
For 2025, I finished seven builds…
But as you can see, while the mix is eclectic, they were all (unconsciously) aircraft and I don’t have gallery entries for any of them. In fact, I still haven’t caught up with completed photos of my 2024 builds.
I’m missing quite a few of my usual builds for 2025:
- no 1/72 F-14 Tomcat
- no 1/48 Aggressor
- no mecha or sci-fi subject
- no Macross build
I’m actually not sure how I ended up with the mix that I had. In any case, I think I want to mix it up more for 2026. And I think I have to build smarter and have some easier builds.
The site is now basically non-stop WIP posts so I really need to get a move on with proper photos of my finished builds. I’d been tinkering with the lighting set-up which added to the delays but I think I’m finally happy with my latest set-up which now involves LED panels instead of speedlights.
OK enough talk and more working. See you all in January 2027 to see how even more I’m behind… 😀
